Born and raised in New York on a steady diet of rock n’ roll, pop culture and pizza, Hal Horowitz spent much of his teenage years standing in front of the mirror trying to perfect the moves of his rock heroes Axl, Mick and Iggy. Soon after, he picked up his first camera during his senior year of High School and never looked back.

Over the last ten years, Hal has established himself as one of the most sought-after professional photographers for events and shoots of all kinds, from music festivals and fashion shows to corporate conferences and retreats. His energy and love for people shines through in his images whether it’s Mick Jagger or denizens about town.

Hal’s clients include Mercedes-Benz, Nike, The United States Tennis Association, Calvin Klein, Pfizer, Heineken, Belvedere, Cafe Bustelo, Eastpack, Epicurious and Game Stop and his editorial work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Spin, Blender, Complex, NME, The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, and the New York Post.

His fine art Rock and Roll photography is represented by Guy Oseary’s Rock Paper Photo

Hal currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and his kitty.
